Day-by-Day Itinerary
1Nairobi to Maasai Mara — Afternoon Game Drive
Depart Nairobi early morning in your private 4x4, descending the Great Rift Valley escarpment and passing through Narok before entering the reserve in time for lunch at your chosen lodge. After check-in, head straight out for your first afternoon game drive — the best time to spot wildebeest herds and the big cats that shadow them.
2Full Day on the Migration
A dawn-to-dusk day on the Mara plains. Your guide positions you along the Mara River to watch the crossings — thousands of wildebeest plunging past waiting Nile crocodiles in scenes that defy belief. A bush picnic keeps you close to the action all day. Evening game drive as golden light sweeps the open savannah.
3Morning Game Drive — Return to Nairobi
An early morning game drive at the most active hour for predators — lion, cheetah and leopard are often on the move at dawn. Breakfast at your lodge, then depart and arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or JKIA.
