Tsavo East & West

Kenya's largest wilderness — land of the red elephants

About Tsavo East & West

Together, Tsavo East and West form one of the world's largest national parks — nearly 22,000 km² of raw, untamed Africa. Tsavo East is famous for its red-dust-bathed elephants and the palm-fringed Galana River; Tsavo West hides the crystal-clear Mzima Springs, where hippos glide past underwater viewing windows, and the dramatic black lava flows of Shetani.
